COP26 A Better Tomorrow Competition

As Glasgow geared up to host COP26 in November 2021, City of Glasgow College Students’ Association (CitySA) recognised that this was a pivotal moment in which we could encourage students to play a key role in creating sustainable solutions to help fight climate change.

The campaign asked students to research complex environmental topics which they felt personally passionate about, highlighting the negative impact that these specific topics have on our planet whilst offering alternative sustainable solutions to address these challenges.

The campaign was set up as a competition to increase wider participation and was open to all students. There were two award categories, the Individual Award, and the Group Award. Both categories included three key themes, Awareness, Community Partnership and Innovation and Originality.
