Since 2004
As a not-for-profit initiative, we seek sponsorship funds to secure the long term future of the Awards. We invite organisations to provide financial support to develop the Green Gown Awards in return for sharing their sustainability knowledge and brand exposure.
An Efficiency and Modernisation Task Group was set up by Universities UK in 2010 and led by Professor Sir Ian Diamond. Its report, known as the Diamond review, made a number of recommendations including the establishment of a digital ‘efficiency hub’. Universities UK and Jisc launched Efficiency Exchange in 2013, in partnership with Hefce and the Leadership Foundation who provided funding via the Innovation and Transformation Fund.
Efficiency Exchange hopes to help you discover and share good practice to create a smarter working university. On the website you will find inspiration, ideas and resources shared by colleagues working in all areas of university life.
