The Falmouth Curriculum Ladder for Sustainability - a novel curriculum design tool that informs sustainability embedding in curricula at scale

We have created a novel curriculum design tool, The Falmouth Curriculum Ladder for Sustainability (FCL-S), that facilitates embedding sustainability across curricula.

Our tool uses a design thinking approach alongside impactful pedagogic methodology as its basis and has a dual function to inform and define embedding of sustainability education at scale and provides a way of measuring the degree of embedding as an indicator of success.

The benefit in using the FCL-S approach is that curricula will also be improving employability and societal drivers by developing students as eco-responsible global citizens and in the constantly shifting scope of the employment landscape and enhancing sustainability knowledge and skills.
