The MedEd Matrix: Unlocking the secrets to professional mastery

The soul of every institution is its faculty. Department of Medical Education is dedicated to the nourishment of this “soul” by providing state of the art faculty development training programs, longitudinal and short courses, just-in-time learning activities and on the go teaching and learning tips through our onsite activities as well as our expertly curated website which features resource materials, study guides, assessment plans, time tables , teaching and learning innovations, out of the box community based and leadership/entrepreneurship courses as well as CPD opportunities for all faculty members regardless of disciplines, gender or seniority.

The “ MedEd Matrix” is our faculty and CPD initiative, aligned with SDG goals to provide continuous and targeted faculty growth through easily available, up-to-date, and innovative content; both face-to-face and asynchronous. So the faculty is fun, fresh, and fit to perform always. 

Top 3 Learnings

1. I learnt that learning skills come through co-creation.
2. I  realized that the faculty is the torch bearer of the next generation. Empower them first to empower the student.
3. I found out that good things can come in small packages and sustainable , small, economical interventions go a long way.
