Earth to Leicester Law School

The University of Leicester’s branding centres on creating ‘Changemakers’ but what does that look like in practice? We have worked hard to create effective processes for collaboration between staff and students that works alongside the university processes to maximise the potential of our students’ ideas and ambition to create positive change and ensure that our values of change-making are at the heart of our actions.

This process has had demonstrable impact, despite recent restrictions, as this example of a group of brilliant students who wanted to affect change by improving sustainability curriculum content in the Law school shows as they were able to work with the University as a collaborator to achieve their goals, create lasting impact and pave the way for others to do the same.
