The University of Warwick has embarked on its journey to a more sustainable campus. We are pushing the boundaries of Transport and Mobility by introducing new innovative and transformational projects for travel to, from and around our campus to promote active, accessible, and inclusive mobility.

Through the collaborative partnership with Transport for West Midlands under the £22m Future Transport Zone Programme, which aims to help inform how we might enable our campus, local and ultimately worldwide communities to be cleaner, more sustainable and lead healthier lives.

The campus is a living lab for new sustainable initiatives. It is encouraging members of the community to test out new mobility ideas, approaches and technologies which aim to support the climate emergency, reduce private car usage, and create a safer more environmentally friendly campus.

  2. We realised understanding the customer had to be dynamic and reviewed regularly.
  3. Strong leadership was required throughout the pandemic to ensure we built on early success.
